(BA)Game Development: Programming
Philip Hutchings
I study Game development specialising in the programming aspect, at Falmouth University.
I started the course in 2019 and I am now a third year aiming to finish my final year at the university and then find industry experience to enhance my development skills and knowledge in the field.
01
Platformer, FPS, Action

This game was the first ever team oriented game development project I had participated in. My role being a programmer was to implement functionality into game mechanics, such as the pistol the player has and also a jetpack which sadly wasn't included in the final build that was published.
02
Adventure, RPG, Action

This was my 2nd year team oriented game development project I was a part of. My role again being a programmer who implemented functionality into the game but I also had created an AI companion.
03
Casual, Cute, Creepy, Simulation
This is my final team oriented project for my course. This game is using Unreal Engine 4 where my job is to implement functionality into the game, such as the build&buy mode that allows the player to customise their cafe the way they want.
