Philip Hutchings

Hi, I'm an undergraduate student at Falmouth university studing BA(Hons) Game Development: Programming.

My hobbies are playing video games with other people and I occasionally trade stocks & shares. I enjoy researching companies which have a good ideas and sometimes I will invest in those companies. I have only been trading since the beginning of February but I have gained a lot of knowledge through my own ambition to learn how finance works in companies as well as the stock market.

The aspects of my role as a programmer involve implementing in-game mechanics and functionality to in-game assets, though in 2nd year I touched a little on AI, I'm essentially a Gameplay Programmer.

After my studies at Falmouth University, I am thinking of searching for a freelance contract to develop a small game to get industry experience and continue my hobby in trading. I hope to gain more experience with a wide variety of programming languages to increase my chances of employability.
